Freedom & Responsibility

Sermon Series:

Freedom & Responsibility

Micah 2:13 (AMP) portrays Jesus as "The Breaker," the Messiah who liberates His people. This passage highlights breakthrough as a divine intervention where God’s power breaks barriers, bringing freedom, victory, and deliverance. The analogy illustrates Jesus breaking us out of spiritual imprisonment, symbolizing His role as the way, the truth, and the life.

The concept of breakthrough is seen in Paul and Silas' story in Acts 16. Despite being beaten and imprisoned, they prayed and praised God, demonstrating faith even in hardship. At midnight, God intervened through an earthquake, breaking their chains and opening prison doors. This moment reflects how Jesus, "The Breaker," leads His people to freedom.

Christians are called to share the Gospel, living as examples of God’s transformative power. Just as Paul became "all things to all men" to reach others, believers are encouraged to use their influence to lead others to Jesus. Breakthrough is not just personal—it is a responsibility to bring freedom to others through God’s love and grace.
